Chris L. Bollinger concentrates in matters relating to intellectual property, technology law, e-commerce, and computer and Internet law.
His work includes:
- Drafting and negotiating agreements for the licensing and transfer of patents, copyrights and trademarks, including consumer product license agreements
- Drafting and negotiating agreements relating to the development, transfer and licensing of hardware and software technology, including software licenses, consulting services agreements, ASP agreements and confidentiality agreements
- Reviewing client Web sites
- Counseling on compliance, electronic contracting and e-commerce issues
- Preparing trademark and copyright applications
- Participating in trade secret, patent, trademark, trade dress and copyright litigation
- Advising on privacy issues, including compliance with federal and state privacy laws, responding to data breaches and thefts and crafting Web site privacy policies
- Counseling on issues relating to advertising law, ad clearance, sweepstakes and contests
- Advising on the intellectual property aspects of mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures, including directing intellectual property due diligence
