David C. Giles

Associate

David C. Giles is an associate who concentrates his practice in general commercial litigation. He has experience representing clients with respect to breach-of-contract claims, fraud and related business torts, defamation and other privacy claims, class-action litigation, and appellate matters.

Experience

Recent successful representations include obtaining dismissal of claims for breach of contract and consumer fraud against a national insurance carrier in multiple asserted class actions, persuading an Illinois state court to dismiss claims against our client for defamation and false-light invasion of privacy, obtaining summary judgment in Mississippi federal court in an asserted class action, and successfully defending that judgment on appeal to the Fifth Circuit.
