Trevor B. Joike has comprehensive experience in patent prosecution. He has prepared and prosecuted patent applications covering software, data processing, electrical and electro-mechanical systems and components.

Mr. Joike has substantial experience representing licensors and licensees in the negotiation and drafting of technology license agreements, including software license agreements. He has participated in the intellectual property aspects of acquisitions and divestitures.
Mr. Joike joined Schiff Hardin in 2001 after 10 years at Marshall, Gerstein & Borun, where he had been a partner since 1995 and special counsel during the four previous years.
Prior to his law firm practice, he was Chief Patent Counsel for Sundstrand Corporation in Rockford, Ill., and Associate Corporate Patent Counsel at Honeywell International Inc. in Minneapolis, Minn., where he established and implemented software protection programs and policies and was solely responsible for the legal aspects of consumer product safety issues.
