Gina M.  Bassi

Associate

Gina M. Bassi concentrates her intellectual property law practice on patent litigation cases covering a wide variety of technologies including pharmaceuticals and biotechnology products, mechanical devices, and computer methods.

She also has experience counseling clients regarding a variety of intellectual property issues. Her experience includes preparing Hatch-Waxman paragraph IV letters, performing freedom to operate analyses, and drafting reexamination requests, petitions, and other papers for submission to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Prior to joining Schiff Hardin, Ms. Bassi was an associate in the New York office of a national intellectual property law firm. As a law student, she was a student attorney in the Glushko-Samuelson Intellectual Property Law Clinic of the American University Washington College of Law and an intern for the Federal Circuit Bar Association.
