Felice B. Rose concentrates her practice in real estate acquisitions, dispositions, development and leasing. In addition to her core practice, she assists banks in handling their REO and troubled assets. She has significant experience drafting, negotiating and guiding landlords, tenants, investors, owners, developers, sellers, banks and borrowers through the most complex and strategic use and operations of real property. Ms. Rose is a member of the Diversity Committee and chairs the Gender Diversity Subcommittee.

A Foundation of Experience

For more than 20 years, Ms. Rose has honed her skills in the arena of real estate law, managing some of the country’s most complex acquisition, disposition and development transactions. She counsels clients on matters involving mixed-use development including shopping centers and condominiums, disposition of portfolio assets, and extensive leasing for both landlords and tenants.

She assists clients with hotel acquisitions and financing, shopping center development, condominium development, and retail leasing. She also has experience with tax-deferred exchanges of real estate, loan assumptions, brownfield redevelopments, and restructuring and workouts for troubled real estate projects and loans. It is this depth and breadth of experience that position Ms. Rose as a leader and a trusted adviser to her clients.

Ms. Rose approaches each client matter with the experience of a seasoned attorney, but she also brings a fresh perspective to all of her work. It is this penchant for creative, strategic problem-solving that allows Ms. Rose to provide real value to her clients. “I troubleshoot as well as strategize,” she says.   • A national lender in connection with REO management and forensic investigations of distressed real estate.
  • A developer in connection with acquiring land and creating mixed use and mixed income communities across the City of Chicago.
  • A property owner with respect to the sale of the commercial components of a mixed use development in Evanston, Illinois.
  • A private equity company in connection with multiple portfolio companies' real estate transactions.
